The Goal

The objective was to create the branding for a new Olive Oil Brand entirely from the ground up. The ultimate deliverables encompassed Visual Identity Design, Packaging, Email Marketing Design, Prototypes, and Website Design.

To initiate the project, I commenced with comprehensive research, including competitor analysis and user research. This involved identifying the target audience, understanding their motivations, and pinpointing any frustrations they may have. The process also entailed determining their geographic location, needs, as well as their consumption and information habits.


Logo Design

The logo represents the olives of the Olive Oil, with its waves symbolizing the winds of the Mediterranean. The choice of colors enhances the logo's meaning, as the shades of green capture the freshness and vitality of the olives.

Naming

In selecting the brand name, I carefully considered the brand's values and identity. As a family brand, its name draws inspiration from the winds of the Mediterranean and underscores their significance in the context of Olive Oil.


Typography

In crafting the typographic elements for Olive Wind, I meticulously chose two fonts: a serif font for headlines and a sans-serif font for subheadlines and web content.

For the serif font, I sought something that would convey elegance and sophistication. After thorough consideration, I settled on Recoleta Alt, a timeless typeface that impeccably captures the essence of the brand.

Concerning the sans-serif font, my aim was to find something modern and fresh, a typeface that would set the website apart. Hence, I opted for Montserrat, a sleek and stylish font that complements the overall design aesthetic flawlessly.


Packaging Design

I was committed to creating sustainable and environmentally conscious packaging – packaging that is both beautiful and responsible.

Taking into consideration the product's unique shape and presentation, I opted for a sleek and stylish box that not only showcases the bottle but also fits perfectly into a convenient paper bag for on-the-go ease.

I also made the decision to forego plastic packaging altogether, aligning with the brand's eco-friendly values.


Landing Page

I have designed a landing page for the product, incorporating a form with a contact section. The design is kept simple to ensure a seamless purchasing experience without any confusion. Additionally, the content is presented in a gallery format, accompanied by a section that provides quick access to the brand's social media platforms.
